2010 Friendship Cruise

Friday May 28th thru Monday May 31st (per the Public Website)

This will be my 2nd time working at the Green River Firestation. I will be operating on 75/80M and 2M. I will have an FT-897D, FT-1802, FT-90, along with my VX-7R. This year I will be monitoring the 2M frequencies from 2 radios so if there is any Multiplexing (which happened last year), I'll be better able to work through it, and to have a backup rig.

Gordon Smith (K7HFV) has some webpages dedicated to the Friendship Cruise, and so does Clint Turner (KA7OEI).

The drive down should be mostly covered by the Sinbad Repeater system. I created a Google Earth (.kml) file with all of the Linked Sinbad repeaters and their frequency information based on the Sinbad website on May 14, 2009. Feel free to use it if you wish, however I won't be keeping it current if anything changes.

I've also created a Google Earth (.kml) file for "Amateur Radio Points of Interrest", for this event. Showing the locations of the boat ramps and repeater sites. This also includes the Sinbad Linked Repeaters from the above link.
